2010
A revolutionary idea is born…
During research at Denmark’s Technical University, Kasper and Christian gets the idea for a new optical sensor technology.
2010
2012
First prototype and winner of venture cup
The first prototype is tested in the lab and the technology is patented. Same year Kasper and Christian wins Venture Cup at DTU.

2015
CEKO Sensors is founded
CEKO Sensors is founded, with an initial investment from SDI (Syddansk Teknologisk Innovation). First market is wind turbine blades.

2016-2018
First projects
CEKO Sensors launches the SDAS™ and secures the first projects on commercial wind turbines.

2020
Expanding to high voltage
CEKO Sensors develops first systems for monitoring high voltage components such as transformers and HVCB’s.

Clausen Engineering
CEKO Sensors successfully closes a 3rd round investment and welcomes Clausen Engineering as an investor
