CEKO Sensors presented cutting-edge blade monitoring technology at the ElectricCity 2021 expo in november 2021. Optical sensors embedded in a 12 meter long demo-blade were monitoried using the SDAS optical read-out system. Visitors at the booth could manually excite the blade, either by sitting on the blade or simply knocking it, and see the resulting output from the sensor system on a nearby monitor. At the first day of the expo HRH crown prince Frederik of Denmark visited the CEKO booth to see the demo blade and CEKO optical monitoring in action.
